What’s included

The Pret meal deal includes a sandwich, crisps, and a drink. All food is made fresh in-store daily — this is Pret’s key differentiator from supermarket meal deals. The range is smaller but premium: artisan sandwiches, baguettes, and wraps with high-quality ingredients. Unsold food is donated to charity at the end of each day.

Still in trial

Pret has been trialling meal deals since September 2025, initially in 70 stores. The trial has been expanding, but it’s not yet available in all 500+ UK locations. If your local Pret doesn’t offer a meal deal yet, it may be coming — check in-store or on the Pret app for availability.

Club Pret

Club Pret costs £5 per month and gives 50% off up to 5 barista-made drinks per day. This doesn’t directly discount the meal deal, but if your meal deal includes a barista drink, the Club Pret discount may apply to the drink component. Members also earn Pret Perks: 1 star per purchase, with a free item after 10 stars.

Pret vs other stores

At £6–£7, Pret is the most expensive meal deal on the market — nearly double the price of Sainsbury’s (£3.50) or Co-op (£3.50). The premium reflects the fresh, made-in-store food and higher-quality ingredients. If you value freshness and are happy to pay more, Pret delivers. For pure value, you’ll save £2–£3 per day by going to a supermarket.
